We’re looking for enthusiastic, qualified and adaptable individuals to be part of the team delivering the iconic Melbourne Cup Carnival at Flemington Place.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience & Product Innovation, this role plays a vital part in shaping and enhancing the way our members and customers connect with VRC. You will be responsible for supporting and executing customer engagement strategies, delivering value-driven experiences, and ensuring members feel welcomed, valued, and connected to our community.

Key responsibilities

- Designing and delivering initiatives that drive engagement, retention, and loyalty across key customer segments.
- Developing onboarding experiences to welcome new members and strengthen long-term relationships.
- Collaborating with marketing and events teams to deliver innovative campaigns, activations, and non-race day events.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to represent the voice of the customer and ensure customer-led decision-making.
- Analysing feedback, insights, and market research to continuously improve offerings and enhance customer experiences.

About You

You will be an enthusiastic and customer-focused professional with the ability to bring ideas to life. Ideally, you will have:

- Experience in a membership, marketing, or customer engagement role (sporting or events environment advantageous).
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and confidence in leveraging insights to drive outcomes.
- A positive, proactive mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
