The Opportunity
Our team continues to expand, and we're now seeking a qualified and experienced Welder to join our Jandakot operations. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring our fleet of bins, trucks and operational assets remain safe, compliant and functional for daily service delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
* Perform high-level welding and maintenance on REMONDIS bins, rails, trucks, and operational equipment, including load‑bearing components requiring certified assessment .
* Conduct most repairs on skip bins, hook bins, and associated waste handling equipment .
* Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions to complete tasks accurately .
* Apply MIG, TIG, and other welding techniques based on job and project requirements .
* Communicate clearly with supervisors, coworkers, and clients regarding work progress or issues.
* Participate in daily pre‑start meetings covering safety, work allocation, and operational updates .
* Maintain strong focus on safety and environmental compliance in the workshop and on customer or branch sites .
* Update timesheets in Excel and maintain accurate bin consumption registers .
What We Offer

* Monday to Friday roster, 38 hours per week with early starts (7:00am)

What You'll Bring
* Qualification as a Welder or Boilermaker
* Previous experience in welding, fabrication or asset maintenance
* Technical capability, attention to detail and a commitment to safety .
