About the Job
Due to recent growth within our Critical Infrastructure team, we are seeking multiple Electrical Design Engineers for full-time permanent roles. This position is based in Stapylton, QLD office with a hybrid work environment and regular travel requirements throughout QLD.
* Assist in designing Telepower systems such as solar and hybrid-solar.
* Support the design and construction team to manage end-to-end projects including forecasting materials, detailed quotes and engineering solutions for specific programs of work, monitor progress against specified timeframes.
* Regularly consult with construction crews and supervisors to optimise design outcomes and improve processes.
* Liaise with suppliers regarding products, specifications and delivery schedules and clients to meet desired design and project outcomes.
Requirements
* A strong understanding of electrical theory.
* A self-motivator with eagerness to learn.
* Strong attention to detail, organisation and time-management skills.
* Practical experience is highly regarded, such as working as a field technician or exposure to the telecommunications, maintenance or construction industries.
* Ability to use various computer packages including Excel, Access & Microsoft Office Suite programs.
* Knowledge of ISO***, OH&S legislation / guidelines and environmental legislation / licensing.
* Current driver's licence and ability to work away from home when required.
* The ability to develop technically fit-for-purpose solar and battery designs for the commercial market and proficient knowledge of the solar industry and related regulations and requirements; and a basic understanding of LV / HV AC electrical systems.
