Baggage Handlers - Brisbane Airport | $36.32/hour | Morning & Evening Shifts
Toll People are hiring reliable and motivated individuals for casual positions at Brisbane Airport. Morning shifts start around 6:00 AM and evening shifts around 9:00 PM, each lasting 4 hours. The pay rate is $36.32 per hour. These roles offer potential for permanent employment.
Responsibilities include:
* Safely lifting and organizing luggage (typically 24-30 kg, up to 35 kg)
* Using RF scanners to follow structured load sheets
* Manual handling onto ergonomic trolleys
* Operating in active zones with machinery support (e.g., baggage cages, straps, moving vehicles)
* Occasionally working in awkward positions (e.g., kneeling for small aircraft loading)
* Wearing required PPE, including knee pads when necessary
Requirements:
* Experience in warehouse or manual handling roles
* Confidence using RF scanners and following detailed instructions
* Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures
* Understanding of ergonomic practices
* Physically capable of lifting heavy items
* Current Driver's License
* Positive, enthusiastic, and safety-focused attitude
