About The Role
As a Registered Nurse at Anglicare Sydney, you will play a crucial role in enriching the lives of our residents by promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being. We are looking for skilled and empathetic Registered Nurses to be part of our dynamic team and contribute to the well-being of our residents.
To be successful in this role you must have a NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance ID.
All required qualifications must be recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework
About You
* Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
* Bachelor of Nursing (BN) essential
* Demonstrated experience in aged care or similar healthcare settings (desirable).
* Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex care needs.
* A genuine passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
* Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence.
* Alignment with Anglicare's Christian ethos and values.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical care to residents, ensuring their health needs are met in accordance with care plans
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
* Develop, implement, and evaluate individual care plans in collaboration with the care team.
* Provide emotional support and build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families
* Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with aged care standards and regulations
* Lead and mentor care staff to promote best practices in aged care
* Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment for residents and staff
* To be successful in this role you must have: NDIS Worker Screening Check Clearance
