Job Description What's the role?
As part of the Regional Commercial & Agri team, your customer obsession, razor‐sharp credit analysis skills and strong industry insights will support new and existing lending for medium and larger family and corporate customers (up to $150m in debt). Partnering closely with Relationship Managers and Credit Managers, you'll meet with customers and their and advisers, and produce high‐quality written credit submissions, financial analysis and insights to inform prudent loan structuring and risk decisions.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Work collaboratively with Relationship Managers, Product Managers, Specialists and Credit Managers to assess, structure and progress a range of lending transactions
* Apply strong commercial judgement to balance customer needs with risk appetite, policy and responsible lending obligations
* Complete financial analysis, risk profiling and due diligence, and prepare clear credit papers and recommendations for approvals
* Support annual reviews, limit/expiry renewals and ongoing compliance activities (e.g., covenant monitoring, conditions subsequent and financial reporting)
* Play a critical role in protecting Westpac Group's assets by applying sound credit management practices and maintaining high quality documentation and file standards
* Supporting customers servicing and other needs alongside the Relationship Manager
