About the role
Riversdale Estate is seeking a talented and passionate Part-time Chef to join our team at our stunning winery and vineyard location in Cambridge, Tasmania. As a Part-time Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious seasonal cuisine that showcases the finest local produce and complements our award-winning wines.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking a variety of high-quality meals for our on-site restaurant and events
* Collaborating to develop innovative and seasonal menu options
* Ensuring all dishes are presented to the highest standard
* Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment
* Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies
* Providing excellent customer service to all guests
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a fine dining or high-end restaurant setting
* Strong technical cooking skills and knowledge of various culinary techniques
* Passion for using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients
* Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A keen eye for detail and high standards of presentation
* A qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
* Ability to work on there own and can handle pressure well
