The Haematology Research Unit at Monash Health is vibrant and fast paced and we are seeking an experienced Operations Manager for the department. We are a large clinical trial unit which utilises the purpose-built Clinical Trial Centre within the Monash Health Translation Precinct to implement new and exciting clinical trial opportunities for our haematology patients.

The Haematology Research Unit delivers Clinical Trials for Monash Health Haematology patients, ranging from Phase 1 to Phase 3 studies. We have in excess of 80 active clinical trials, offering patient-centric care to patients with complex needs. We continue to grow in size, are a dynamic unit, and pride ourselves in the quality of care we deliver to our patients.
**About the Role**
The Operations Manager will effectively and efficiently manage the Haematology Research Unit at Monash Health, in conjunction with the Manager (Contracts and Finance). The Operations Manager will be responsible for personnel management and training, strategic business development, planning, coordination and oversight of clinical trials, stake holder engagement, audit oversight and management, and Unit Specific Standard Operating Procedures.
**About You**
The Operations Manager will require advanced interpersonal skills, enthusiasm and a dynamic approach to leading the Haematology Research team, ensuring that the best possible care for trial patients is delivered. You will be responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members on a daily basis.
You will lead by example, engaging the team to achieve goals, creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture. You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You have a high level of attention to detail, multitasking and prioritization skills.
