RCG is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Finance all-rounder to join our Perth team on a permanent part-time basis.
You will report directly to our CFO, handling day-to-day finance tasks while supporting the implementation of new systems and improvements to financial processes across the business. We operate in a fast-paced environment managing multiple assets, projects, and clients, so efficiency and accuracy are essential.
This role is ideal for someone with extensive accounts receivable and payable experience who is highly confident in using Excel and Xero.
The Role
* Accounts Receivable: Manage the preparation and issuance of client invoices ensuring complete documentation and accurate processing in Xero to facilitate timely payments.
* Accounts Payable: Accurate matching and processing of supplier invoices including correct coding and rechargeable allocation.
* Billing Management: Collaborate with internal and external teams to validate billable items, resolve discrepancies, and secure approvals efficiently.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong working relationships across departments and with clients to ensure smooth financial operations.
* Process Improvement: Lead process improvement initiatives by implementing automation tools and innovative solutions to streamline billing and payment workflows.
About you:
* Proficient in Xero, MS Office, and Excel with a strong emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
* Prior experience in the equipment hire industry is highly desirable.
* Familiarity with timesheet software (Assignar) and job management systems is an advantage.
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills, working effectively with both operational and finance teams.
* Proactive and adaptable, with a proven ability to problem-solve and drive system improvements in a dynamic growing environment.
* Comfortable working independently as well as contributing within a small supportive team.
