This is not a site-based supervisory role. However, site visits are supported and could be a requirement to advance project efficiency.
This is an office-based leadership position responsible for managing performance, accountability, reporting, and delivery through Buildertrend.

The Company: We have been in operation for over 9 years in the NT and specializes in Remote Maintenance and Building servicing both Residential and Commercial Clients. NBPS delivers projects throughout Arnhem Land, Kakadu and across the entire Northern Territory.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Project Systems & Performance Oversight
* Oversee all active projects through Buildertrend.
* Ensure every project is fully set up and managed correctly within the platform.
* Monitor budgets, cost codes, variations, purchase orders, subcontractor commitments, and financial tracking.
* Ensure accurate scheduling and milestone tracking.
* Identify performance gaps early and implement corrective action.
Team Leadership & Accountability
* Lead and manage a team of Project Administrators and Coordinators.
* Hold team members accountable for data entry, documentation, scheduling accuracy, and workflow completion.
* Conduct regular internal reviews to ensure Buildertrend is being used correctly and consistently.
* Provide mentoring and performance feedback.
* Implement structured reporting and accountability processes.
Reporting & Data Analysis
* Design, develop, and deliver structured weekly project performance reports to the Director.
* Provide clear reporting on:
o Budget vs actual performance
o Project efficiency metrics
o Variation tracking
o Cash flow forecasting
o Programme adherence
o Team accountability metrics
* Analyse trends and identify risks across the project portfolio.
* Provide recommendations for operational improvement.
Process Development & Continuous Improvement
* Refine and improve internal project management workflows.
* Ensure Buildertrend is used to its full capability.
* Develop reporting templates and dashboard systems.
* Drive system discipline across the organisation.
* Improve project delivery efficiency and margin control.
Risk & Compliance Oversight
* Ensure documentation is complete and compliant.
* Oversee contract administration processes.
* Ensure variations are documented and approved before work proceeds.
* Maintain project file integrity and audit readiness.
What Success Looks Like
* 99% + Project Labour and Material expenses captured and allocated correctly
* 100% of Variations Captured, Costed and Approved
* 100% Project Progress Reports and Daily Logs completed.
* Project Resources allocated correctly and on-time
* Proactive problem-solving, anticipating needs before they arise
Key Selection Criteria:
* Building Trade / Construction Experience and Experience in Project Management - Qualification not Essential
* Previous Experienced in Job management software Buildertrend is highly regarded but not essential.
* Computer literacy – Microsoft, Project Management systems, vehicle and machinery tracking systems, BlueBeam (Bluebeam the capacity to learn if not already knowledgeable).
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
* Ability to build effective relationships & be empathetic to the needs of the client
* Dispute resolution skills
* Positive attitude & sound work ethic
* Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
