Job Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate healthcare professional to assist residents with their daily needs, provide accurate documentation, and maintain a caring attitude towards residents.
As an Assistant in Nursing, you will play a vital role in providing direct care and support to residents, assisting with daily living activities, and contributing to the overall comfort and well-being of patients under the guidance of our registered nurses.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
* Monitor and report on resident health status, including vital signs and general well-being
* Support registered nurses in providing high-quality care
* Maintain resident records and documentation in accordance with healthcare standards
* Assist in resident mobility and positioning
* Provide emotional support and comfort to residents and their families
* Follow infection control and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
Requirements
* A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting (preferred but not essential)
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to work night shifts
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow care plans and instructions
* A genuine passion for helping others and a caring attitude
