**Primary Responsibilities**:
- Support the delivery of safe, reliable, and consistently high-quality technical services to all functions of the business.
- Support Technical Superintendent to develop best in class processes, procedures, and manuals in the service delivery function, including the use of technology and business systems
- Build and maintain a positive team approach to safety culture, quality culture and adherence to processes and procedures
- Track, manage and report on performance KPI's across many measures such as safety, fleet performance, quality, on time delivery and work order management
- Working with the planning department, coordinate, and schedule trains for maintenance to ensure availability and reliability standards are achieved, in line with Asset Management best practice.
- Ensure all activities are aligned to the Rail Safety Accreditation and Workplace Health & Safety, Electrical and Rail Safety Acts and are consistent with the Safety Management System
- Support when required to deliver and coordinate regular internal safety and quality audits for the sites, ensuring high standards across all sites and personnel.
**Key Requirements**:
- Relevant Engineering qualifications desirable
- Demonstrate proven supervisory or leadership experience in a rolling stock maintenance management environment (at least 2 years), preferably in a Fleet Maintenance environment
- Demonstrable safety culture experience and approach to continuous improvement in terms of safety, quality, and employee engagement
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge of estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance methods.
- Competent in forecasting and strategic planning with strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with all levels with Alstom and Customer's organisations.
- Have proven ability in the management of change and the capacity to undertake individual and staff consultation and negotiation.
- Training qualification desirable.
