A background in mass spectrometry and/or physics ideally with a passion for original research would be highly regarded. We are interested in receiving applicants from both an academic and industry (mass spec) background of various years of experience.Other attributes that we are looking out for: Bachelor’s Degree (Science) in Physics or a related discipline. PHD preferred with further research experience advantageous. Experience in the development of Mass Spectrometry instrumentation and/or vacuum physics (charged particle detection advantageous). Surface Science experience. Computational Physics experience. An established interest in solving complex technical problems. Experience with designing and implementing computer simulation methods and Monte Carlo techniques. Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
