Quality Assurance Professional
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Professional to join our team in a Quality Engineer role.
* Assess engineering capability and compliance for the sustainment of Collins Class Submarines, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
* Utilise ICAM techniques to conduct thorough investigations into product safety issues.
* Communicate investigation outcomes effectively to stakeholders across all levels, fostering transparency and trust.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of product safety reports, databases, and business improvement requests.
* Collaborate with national and international stakeholders to develop effective solutions and maintain objectivity under conflicting views.
* Develop in-depth knowledge of product safety processes and procedures, demonstrating expertise in WHS&E and Quality Management Systems.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or a related field) is required.
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in supplier quality or quality engineering is necessary.
* Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, SPC, and 8D is essential.
* A strong understanding of engineering management systems and supplier technical capability is required.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills are mandatory.
* Proven experience in supplier engagement in a complex engineering environment is preferred.
* Previous experience in conducting audits and/or technical investigations is highly valued.
* Familiarity with ICAM Investigator training or similar qualifications is desirable.
