Place is the home of some of the highest performing real estate agents across Brisbane, and Place's Contracts and Compliance Department based at Place HQ (James St, Fortitude Valley) touches each and every Form 6 and Contract of the transaction, their importance in the process is high, their value is even higher. Reporting to the Manager of Legal and Compliance, this Contracts Coordinator role plays a key part in supporting agents and teams across the Place network. The Contracts team ensures contracts and settlements are managed accurately, efficiently and compliantly, with a direct impact on the success of every transaction. Joining a collaborative HQ environment, you'll bring your conveyancing expertise and attention to detail to a role that genuinely adds value across the business.
The successful candidate will be placed within the HQ team, working Monday to Friday with a once‐a‐month Saturday shift paid at overtime and worked from home.
Responsibilities
* Work with specific office locations as their key point of contact offering end to end contract advisory and administration services;
* Prioritise and process new listings (form 6) and contracts of sale with a focus on compliance;
* Conduct title searches and company searches to facilitate smooth transactions;
* Communicate with solicitors on behalf of Place and our Agents seeking support and guidance from the team leader where required;
* Provide best practice guidance to our Agents when required;
* Actively contribute to team projects and goals.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of real estate administration or agent support experience.
* Contract of sale knowledge is essential.
* Conveyancing experience/knowledge would be highly advantageous.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills and confidence overcoming challenges over the phone;
* Exceptional computer skills in Microsoft O365 and database operation;
* Excellent time management, prioritisation and organisation skills;
* An ability to work autonomously as well as part of a wider collaborative team.
