Conduct research and analysis to inform policy development and support implementation
**Your new company**
This Federal Government agency are responsible for operating and supporting a national scheme for vulnerable Australians. Working within the Interface and Royal Commissions branch, you will contribute to the formulation and maintenance of policies associated with improving the effectiveness of this agency in responding to recommendations from the Royal Commission.
**Your new role**
Reporting to the Director of Policy, you will be responsible for providing technical and professional policy support in relation to complex problems. You will be conducting research, interpreting and drafting policies, contributing to briefing papers and ministerial correspondences, and participating in committees and forums. You will have a considerable level of public contact in relation to difficult, complex or sensitive issues.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be considered for these roles, you must be an Australian Citizen and demonstrate the following:
- Previous experience in a policy based role
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Concise writing skills and experience in producing ministerial briefings
- Ability to work flexibly to tight and changing timeframe
- Ability to work autonomously to achieve outcomes
**What you'll get in return**
In exchange for your commitment, a competitive hourly rate + 10.5% superannuation will be offered, as well as the support of guidance of a dedicated Recruitment Consultant throughout your assignment.
