Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) Engineer to support our clients. The role involves leading ISC configuration, supporting legacy platform decommissioning, and accelerating cloud-based identity governance adoption. Melbourne-based candidates are preferred, as the engineer will collaborate onsite with the project and security teams a few days per week to support design workshops, migration planning, and onboarding activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead engineer in the transition from legacy platform to SailPoint ISC, including migration planning and capability uplift.
* Design and configure ISC components: Identity Profiles, Lifecycle States, Roles, Access Request, Certifications, Policies, Password Management and JML processes.
* Drive rapid application onboarding, including provisioning integration, entitlement aggregation, attribute mapping, and connector configuration (SaaS, HR, Azure AD, AD, custom apps).
* Configure ISC workflows, transformations, rules, webhooks, SCIM and REST API-based integrations.
* Contribute to establishing a scalable managed services and operational support model, including templates, standards, and playbooks.
* Collaborate closely with client stakeholders (business, IT, security, governance) to align migration and onboarding priorities.
* Conduct workshops, technical coaching, and knowledge transfer sessions with internal teams.
* Prepare architectural design documents, onboarding catalogues, configuration records, and operational handover material.
Required Skills & Experience
* 3+ years of hands‐on SailPoint ISC (IdentityNow) delivery and configuration experience.
* Demonstrated experience in IAM modernisation and legacy platform decommissioning.
* Strong experience with application onboarding at scale (cloud, SaaS, enterprise, HRIS, AD/Azure AD).
* Strong skills in designing connectors and integration architectures.
* Technical Delivery Lead capabilities (planning, stakeholder management, and execution) alongside engineering responsibilities.
* Excellent understanding of identity lifecycle, provisioning, certifications, governance, role modelling, and SCIM provisioning.
* Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and broader IAM concepts.

* Strong client‐facing, collaborative and advisory capabilities.
* Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, with regular onsite presence in Melbourne to support workshops and configuration sessions.
* Self‐driven, solution‐focused, and comfortable working across project delivery, advisory, and operations enablement.
