Job Description
SAI 1 Pty Ltd is a transport and logistics business operating from Park Ridge, Queensland. Our operations rely on a well-managed vehicle fleet to ensure safe, compliant, and timely service delivery. As fleet size and operational requirements continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee vehicle management, maintenance coordination, and compliance across our operations.
Location: 7A Goodwin Close, Park Ridge QLD 4125 Position: Fleet Manager – Full-Time Salary: $78,000 – $83,000 + Superannuation About the Role The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the company's vehicle fleet.
This includes coordinating maintenance and servicing, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring vehicle performance, and supporting efficient fleet utilisation. Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the operation and management of the company's vehicle fleet.
* Coordinate scheduled servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
* Monitor vehicle condition, usage, and performance to minimise downtime.
* Ensure compliance with road transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
* Maintain accurate fleet records including registrations, servicing logs, and compliance documentation.
* Liaise with mechanics, service providers, insurers, and suppliers.
* Manage fuel usage, vehicle expenses, and cost-control measures.
* Support vehicle allocation, scheduling, and replacement planning.
* Investigate incidents, breakdowns, and accidents and coordinate corrective actions.
* Prepare basic fleet performance and maintenance reports for management.
Skills & Experience
* Qualification in Logistics, Transport, Fleet Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
* 1
* 2 Experience in a Fleet Manager, Transport Coordinator, or similar role.
* Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance, compliance, and fleet operations.
* Ability to manage multiple vehicles and competing priorities.
* Good organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and record-keeping capability.
* Ability to work independently and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
