About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leaders in Paper goods and an iconic FMCG household brand.

We are looking for a passionate and driven National Account Manager with a keen eye for data and numbers to join our Sales Team. The National Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing the profitability of Sorbent Paper Company portfolio of brands across the Coles business. A key focus of the position will be on building enduring relationships with major Customer Accounts.

Reporting to the National Business Manager, this critical role is responsible for the achievement of agreed sales, distribution, profitability, market share, merchandising and promotional targets across all categories within the designated Customer Accounts.

Your responsibilities in this role will include

* Business Performance: Achieve sales, profit, and category growth targets.
* Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts.
* Market Insights: Analyze insights to inform commercial strategies and enhance business performance.
* Promotional Management: Optimise promotional spend and evaluate promotional effectiveness.
* Team Collaboration: Lead key customer meetings and collaborate with internal teams for customer solutions.
* Category Management: Oversee category review processes and execute marketing strategies.
* Strategic Change: Implement changes to drive business results and improve efficiency.
* Reporting and Forecasting: Manage trading negotiations and forecast for all product ranges.


What will make you successful

* Minimum 3 years National Account Management and/or Account Management experience in grocery sector, with some experience on Coles or Woolworths (Essential).
* Significant experience in negotiating with strategic customers with proven positive business outcomes.
* Experience with customer Own Brand sales, strategy and product development (highly advantageous).
* Demonstrated advanced relationship building and strategic thinking experience.
* High level communication skills and ability to openly express ideas and listen and build relationships.
* Demonstrated business acumen which initiates change/continuous improvement.
* Demonstrated analytical ability and problem solving for better solutions.
* Ability to deal with complexity, detail and meet deadlines.
* Process driven with strong customer focus.
