Overview
The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) will provide support to medical specialists in the management of a broad case-mix of adult medical, surgical and rehabilitation inpatients.
Duties
Cover extended night duty (16:30 to 08:00 Monday to Thursday) and weekends (16:30 Friday to 08:00 Monday) either fully or partially.
Responsibilities
* Provide safe and effective patient care across a broad case-mix in adult medical, surgical and rehabilitation inpatients.
* Work well in a multidisciplinary team of health and allied health care professionals.
* Maintain awareness of the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
Qualifications
* Essential MBBS/MD or equivalent.
* Registered Medical Practitioner with AHPRA.
* Advanced Life Support (ALS) Accreditation.
* Minimum three years full‐time postgraduate experience in the Australian healthcare system.
* Right to work in Australia (Australian citizen or permanent resident).
* National Criminal History Check issued within 3 months.
* Working With Children Check.
* Meeting vaccination requirements for an NSW Health Category A position, excluding COVID‐19 and Influenza vaccinations.
