Job Description
* Lead end‐to‐end data migration across Finance systems, including strategy, design, execution, remediation, and quality validation.
* Architect, develop, and optimise scalable Azure/Databricks data pipelines and lakehouse solutions, improving performance, automation, and maintainability.
* Provide technical leadership across multi‐disciplinary teams, guiding engineers, analysts, and vendors while uplifting delivery capability and standards.
* Redesign and modernise existing EDA pipelines and data models, removing technical debt, enhancing reliability, and enabling trusted analytics and Power BI self‐service.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer with the following experience:
* Extensive hands‐on experience with Databricks.
* A successful track record leading large‐scale data migration projects – ideally within Finance systems (nice to have).
* Strong hands‐on expertise in data engineering, including ETL/ELT design, data modelling, and integration patterns.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure, with excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills.
