This business is currently looking for a motivated Payroll professional to join their supportive & cooperative team on a permanent part-time basis. This role will be an exciting opportunity for those looking for their next challenge!
Position Description
This role is responsible for working in partnership with Finance & HR stakeholders to complete the accurate and efficient payroll processing. Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Timely end to end weekly payroll processing
- Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
- Working & interpreting a number of EBA's and Award
- Processing work cover, superannuation and payroll tax
- Administer leave entitlements and payments
- Efficiently handing payroll related queries
- Additional tasks to assist the broader team
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes, however will not be limited to:
- Prior experience within a similar Payroll position
- Capability and desire to work both autonomously as well as among a collaborative finance team
- Excellent communication skills and a reliable attitude
- Strong attention to detail and positive working approach
- Effective time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
- Ability to build relationships with internal staff members
