Whether you come from a background in human food ingredients or direct animal nutrition, this role offers you the platform to lead and expand our ANZ footprint You will act as the region's subject matter expert, turning high-quality raw materials and innovative functional ingredients into value-added solutions for leading pet food producers Growth & Strategy: Define and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed the ANZ pet food sales budget. Business Development: Identify new leads and market opportunities in the pet food sector by leveraging your industry network. Relationship Management: Build strong B2B partnerships with existing customers and prospects. Account Planning: Develop strategic account plans for key clients, collaborating with internal global teams. Pipeline & Forecasting: Manage the CRM pipeline tool, track weekly performance, and ensure accurate monthly data for the S&OP system. Financial Oversight: Manage the local sales budget, implement pricing policies, and negotiate commercial terms. Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with technical experts on new product development (NPD) to deliver tailored ingredient solutions. The Ideal Candidate Industry Background: Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales or Account Management within the B2B ingredients or food industry - pet food experience is a significant advantage. Ambitious Drive: High energy and a strong track record of hunting for new business and exceeding sales targets. Educational Foundation: Tertiary qualification in Food Science, Animal Science, or a related field is highly preferred. Self-Management: Highly organised, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously across a large geographic territory. Commercial Polish: Strong negotiation skills, excellent presentation abilities, and experience using CRM or BI tools
