As a HR Consultant, you'll play a crucial role in driving and delivering the people agenda across the Faculty/Division.
You'll work closely with HR Business Partners, coordinate key projects, and provide expert advice on complex workplace matters.
This role offers you the opportunity to develop broad HR business partnering skills whilst collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders to support the University's strategic objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing Expert HR Guidance: Offer advisory support to leaders on HR matters, including policy interpretation and legislative compliance.Driving Key HR Initiatives: Support cyclical activities, workforce planning, and change programmes aligned with University and business unit people plans.Managing Complex Cases: Work alongside HRBPs to support performance management and investigations.Ensure Compliance: Support activities related to Working with Children Checks, fixed-term contract renewals, and casual compliance escalations.You may be a great fit if:
You are an experienced HR professional with a relevant tertiary qualification, possessing strong advisory skills and the ability to navigate complex, ambiguous environments whilst building trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.
You may also:
Possess in-depth knowledge of HR processes and employment legislation.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Have strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgement.Be able to prioritise work demands and meet tight deadlines.Show adaptability and thrive in a changing environment.What we offer you!
