You will be assisting the daily operation to create an award winning conference and events experience and production kitchen supporting all outlets and venues across SkyCity Adelaide. You will work closely with our Head Chef to directly contribute to our food & beverage operations, strategic business and technical development planning. Your days will be varied so experience in stock ordering, menu design and costings will serve you well, alongside your ability to motivate the team and professionally develop the production kitchen team to ensure exceptional food and service standards are delivered to our guests in each venue.
About you
You will have demonstrated experience and knowledge of a large conferencing and events kitchen environment across a range of culinary styles and cuisines. You will be experienced in optimising the performance of the kitchen team through inspiring, engaging and developing others in your team, possessing strong organisational skills and the drive to achieve successful results through strategic planning and executing functions and events. You will be passionate about your craft you will thrive on the opportunity to develop your knowledge through keeping abreast of industry trends and implementing change programmes to align with industry standards.
You will also possess the relevant Commercial Cookery qualifications as well as your Food Safety Certificate.
