Join NetApp as a TechOps Graduate Engineer supporting cloud-hosted open-source technology clusters with a focus on operations and customer support.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Maintain and support a large fleet of cloud-hosted Apache Cassandra, Kafka, OpenSearch, and other open-source technology clusters
- Address daily challenges in fleet management, customer support, operations, and incident response
- Collaborate with Product Management, Development Teams, and Customer Success to improve customer support processes
- Participate as a proactive, reliable, and supportive member of the TechOps team
- Work within a 24/7 rotating shift roster
About You
The company is looking for:
- 0-3 years of working experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Good fundamental computer science/software engineering skills
- Proficiency with Linux and comfort working from the command line (no GUIs)
- Basic programming skills in Python, Java, bash scripting, and SQL
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to follow required processes and procedures
- Team player with initiative and a passion for IT and open source technologies
- Customer service experience is favorable
- Willingness to work in a shift-based position
