Our commitment to training and working with only the best companies has been going strong since 2005. We are currently looking for Heavy Diesel Mechanics / HD Fitter with the below experience.
Duties:
* Servicing, maintenance and repair with various Mobile Plant equipment
* Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults
* Attending breakdowns onsite
* Repair and maintain the hydraulic components of diesel and petrol/gas engines
* Component change outs
Skills and Experience Required:
* Strong focus on safety and quality
* Proven field service experience
* Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
* Own tooling specific to the trade
* Experience on Caterpillar, Hitachi and/or Komatsu Mining Equipment
* Experience in the mining industry (FIFO)
* Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology / Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Mobile Plant Mechanic) / Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or similar
* Air Conditioning & Refrigeration license (Desirable)
* Valid Manual C Class Driver's License
