This encompasses the largest investment in public education infrastructure in the history of NSW. About the role - Provide a full range of asset services to a group of schools within the assigned area of the regional Asset Management Unit (AMU) - Support with the implementation of facilities management programs and maintenance works, to provide high quality, professional service delivery. - Liaise with consultants, contractors, and other asset management staff to support the design, development and construction phases of projects. - Prepare project briefs, status reports, financial information, and other associated documentation to inform decision making on the delivery of facilities management projects in schools. For further information please About you - Project Management and or Construction Management experience or associated transferrable skills. - A good level of computer skill couple with a good understanding of Microsoft suite of applications. - Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes. - Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education - Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people. Essential requirements of the role - Current and valid NSW Driver's Licence - Willingness and ability to travel across the assigned area of Asset Management of North Western NSW - Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
