Key Challenges and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled Account Manager to play a strategic leadership role within our organisation. As the primary relationship manager for assigned clients, you will be responsible for developing and executing tailored client strategies to maintain a profitable book of business.
The role involves fostering positive client and broker relationships, providing professional advice and consultation on property insurance and risk management, and leading the underwriting of large commercial property insurance programs for prominent organisations.
* Foster Positive Client Relationships: Ensure premium retention by building strong relationships with clients and brokers, providing expert advice and consultation on property insurance and risk management.
* Develop Strategic Client Plans: Develop and execute tailored client strategies to maintain a profitable book of business, while also leading the underwriting of large commercial property insurance programs.
* Analyse Account Risks: Analyse account and location risks to inform risk selection, capacity deployment, and policy terms and conditions within our underwriting framework.
* Prepare Insurance Policies: Prepare insurance policies to ensure terms, conditions, and wording accurately reflect a mutual understanding of intent of coverage.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Qualification: A degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or risk management.
* Minimum 5 Years Property Insurance Experience: Proven experience in property insurance, with a focus on client-facing roles.
* Demonstrated Understanding of Property Insurance Landscape: Strong knowledge of the Australian and New Zealand property insurance landscape, including market trends and broker networks.
* Highly Developed Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
