Marian Catholic College is an expansive co‑educational 7‑12 secondary school with a current enrolment of around 700 students. Located in the beautiful regional city of Griffith, the college boasts new educational facilities including a Technological and Applied Studies Centre (TAS) and modern staff and administration facilities. The college is committed to the learning and wellbeing of all students and offers strong peer support, professional learning and mentor programs for teaching staff.

Your New Role

As a Classroom Teacher you will inspire young minds, foster a positive learning environment and develop engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. You will provide individual attention to students, address their unique needs, collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational outcomes and build strong relationships with parents and guardians.


What We Can Offer

* Permanent, Full‑Time Teaching Position
* Visual Arts Teacher 7‑12 or TAS Teacher (Industrial TAS, Timber & Metal)
* Commencing January 27th 2026 (or as negotiated)

Selection Criteria

* An understanding of and commitment to the mission and purpose of Catholic Education.
* Professional qualifications in teaching and learning and specific KLA areas required.
* Demonstrated ability and expertise in developing and implementing flexible and innovative programmes to support learning.
* Ability to teach other subject areas highly desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to foster positive professional relationships with students and contribute to improved learning outcomes and academic achievement.
* An ability to work as part of a cohesive team and contribute positively to staff professional culture.
* Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Demonstrates an understanding of NESA and Diocesan policies and protocols and school procedures.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and develop effective documentation on school and system platforms.
* Current Working with Children Check and NESA Accreditation.
* Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or working towards Accreditation.
