This role is part of the team who are responsible for maintaining municipal residences and buildings, along with the construction of new habitats, displays and structures. They consist of skilled labourers, trade qualified individuals, administrators and project managers.
To be successful in this role, you must have a demonstrated understanding of Australia Zoo's Vision, Mission and Goals. You must have the ability to work within a collaborative team, be dedicated to conservation and have a positive attitude.
Duties Include:
* Performing general labouring tasks.
* Assist with site preparation.
* Set up and dismantle equipment.
* Operating hand and power tools.
* General cleaning duties of work sites, work sheds and equipment.
* Follow all safety checks and protocols.
* Other duties as requested by Senior Management.
Essential Criteria:
* Hold a valid White Card (General Construction Induction).
* Hold a current HR drivers licence.
* Previous experience within earthworks roles is highly desired.
