⭐ About the Role
As our Lead Recruiter, you’ll take ownership of end‑to‑end talent acquisition across white‑collar, technical, and project‑based roles. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, anticipate workforce needs, build high‑quality talent pipelines, and ensure candidates experience a professional, transparent, and engaging recruitment journey.
This is a hands‑on sourcing role ideal for someone who loves direct search, industry networking, and finding great people before we need them.
⭐ What You’ll Do
* Lead end‑to‑end recruitment from role briefing through to offer and mobilisation
* Build and maintain strong talent pipelines across high‑demand disciplines
* Direct‑source and headhunt passive candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, SEEK Talent Search, JobAdder, referrals, and networks
* Partner with hiring managers to understand project demands and workforce planning
* Deliver structured, professional shortlisting and interview coordination
* Manage pre‑employment checks and support onboarding handover
* Maintain accurate ATS/HRIS data and ensure compliance with industry standards
* Represent S&W as a professional, values‑driven employer in the market
⭐ What You’ll Bring
* Experience in recruitment within the mining, resources, engineering, infrastructure, or project‑based sectors
* Demonstrated ability to source and attract high‑calibre candidates through direct search
* Strong understanding of industry roles and workforce structures
* Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship‑building skills
* High levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and organisation
* Ability to work in a fast‑paced, changing environment with competing priorities
* Proficiency in JobAdder, SEEK, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft 365
Bachelor‑level qualifications in HR, Business Administration, or similar are welcomed but not essential for exceptional recruiters.
