The Junior Cabinetmaker will be responsible for assisting in crafting, assembling and repairing wooden cabinets and other store fixtures:
Read and interpret shop drawings.
Assist in constructing custom cabinetry with accuracy and working alongside Senior Cabinetmakers and Shop Foreman to ensure products meet design specifications and quality control standards.
Set up and operate woodworking machinery, including table saws, shapers, molders, planers, jointers, sanders, etc.
Fit and assemble components to ensure product meets quality and customer standards.
Attach fittings and other components to assembled cabinetry.
Prepare product for finishing.
Operate and maintain tools and equipment.
The Skillset
Graduate from a recognized Woodworking program.
Attention to detail.
Able to lift, carry, push and or pull objects weighing up to 50lbs.
Sound knowledge of shop drawings and interpretation.
Proven experience using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work well as a team member.
High level of attendance.
Excellent work ethic.
Self-directed.
Day Shift – 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m.
