The Role
Fred's offers a high-quality, produce led, seasonal menu that changes often. We are searching for an incredible casual Pastry Chef that lives for simple food, created with the best quality ingredients, sourced regionally. Working with a small brigade of chefs, you will have the opportunity to learn from the best and develop your skills. Everything is handmade in this kitchen, using intricate techniques. We are searching for someone who is an intuitive chef and is looking to develop, has good communication and presentation as you will be working in a very open kitchen with guest interaction occurring.
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have at least 3 years' experience in a high-end restaurant or wine bar.
* Be confident making breads, pastry and managing a section.
* Be happy to work in an open kitchen and engage with guests.
* Be organised, have a good attitude and be keen to learn.
