Domestic Cleaners Required- Inner West and Greater Western Sydney (Urgent)
National Disability and Mental Health Services (NDMHS) is a registered NDIS provider based in Sydney, dedicated to delivering high-quality disability and mental health support services. We are a rapidly growing organisation committed to empowering our clients to live independently and comfortably in their own homes.
We are currently seeking experienced and reliable Female Domestic Cleaners to join our team to support NDIS participants across Sydney's Inner West and Greater Western Sydney.
Position Overview
As an NDIS Domestic Cleaner, you will provide essential cleaning and household support to individuals with disabilities and mental health challenges. Your role is vital in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and comfortable living environment that promotes the wellbeing and independence of our participants.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general household cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces.
* Clean bathrooms, kitchens, and common living areas to high hygiene standards.
* Assist with laundry, changing bed linens, and basic tidying tasks.
* Follow cleaning schedules and specific client preferences as outlined in their NDIS care plans.
* Report any household safety or maintenance concerns to your supervisor.
* Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and respect for client privacy at all times.
* Adhere to NDMHS and NDIS Code of Conduct and WHS policies.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
Valid Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle (required for travel between client locations).
Work Rights in Australia (citizen, permanent resident, or valid working visa).
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
Manual Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
Access to basic residential cleaning equipment (vacuum, mop, cleaning agents, etc.).
Ability to travel across assigned service areas (Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, and Sutherland Shire).
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-focused attitude.
Preferred:
* At least 1 year of cleaning experience, ideally in residential or NDIS support settings.
* Previous experience working with people with disabilities or mental health needs.
