We seek a highly skilled Super Yacht Chief Engineer to oversee marine vessel maintenance within our fleet.
This role involves working on domestic and international voyages, including trips to New Zealand and QLD Whitsundays.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the safety and efficiency of engine room operations
* Develop and implement repair and inspection plans for the engine
* Manage and train onboard engineers
* Inventory engineering tools and supplies
Qualifications and Skills
* Extensive technical experience in marine engineering
* Advanced knowledge of yacht systems and equipment
* Strong planning and organizational skills
* Ability to work independently and lead a team
* Multitasking and versatility in a fast-paced environment
* Effective communication and delegation skills
* Financial management and procurement skills for engine maintenance
* Knowledge of reputable suppliers and vendors
* A valid AMSA Engineer Class 2 Qualification or MCA equivalent
