Our Dispute Resolution and Restructuring and Insolvency group is one of the largest practice groups in Australia, comprising leading litigation lawyers who draw on the resources and expertise of our global firm.
We take a commercially pragmatic approach to disputes, focusing on the issues that matter to our clients rather than simply managing the litigation process. Our strategic approach identifies and guides our clients' legal teams on all available options to promote early resolution while promoting their best interests.
Our team has the privilege of working on large-scale, complex litigation and dispute resolution across a range of industries and disciplines, as well as in class actions, insolvency matters, regulatory work, and white-collar crime matters.
About This Role
* Post-qualification experience: 2-4 years in commercial litigation (restructuring and insolvency experience valued but not a prerequisite)
* Relevant experience in a top-tier or leading international law firm (preferred)
* A strong client service focus
* Strong technical, drafting, and commercial skills
* Business development aptitude, interest, and experience
* Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication, and legal research skills
* A commitment to high standards and attention to detail
* An ability to develop strong relationships with clients and take responsibility for these relationships
* An ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity
* Ability to work well in a team environment (including across Australian offices and internationally)
* Willingness to learn
* Willingness to develop others through mentoring and sharing experiences
* Relevant legal qualifications and a strong academic background
