Sales Director Opportunity

The Sales Director position is a pivotal role that requires a proactive and results-driven individual to identify and capture all opportunities in Groups, MICE, and high-rated leisure segments.
\
Reporting to the Director of Sales, the primary focus will be to highlight Hilton Sydney to key agents, clients, and industry professionals.
\
Main Responsibilities:

1. Proactively identify and capture all opportunities in Groups and MICE segment focusing on past confirmed bookings (Bring Back Old Business - BBOB) and acquire new opportunities to achieve pre-determined goals for Groups, Conference & Events (GC&E) revenue.
\
2. Proactively identify ancillary revenue opportunities in all market segments.
\
3. Assist Sales managers and Director of Sales in collating market intelligence and other sales-related activities such as site inspections, events, trade shows, and networking functions as deemed appropriate.
\
4. Collaborate with and support commercial leadership team to achieve relevant key indicators.
\
5. Actively promote the hotel and provide advice, support, and training to Front Desk and F&B team members.
\
6. Develop and manage budgets and revenue proposals, analyze and forecast results and market segments, and rates.
\
7. Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and drive business growth through effective communication and negotiation skills.
