* Owning architectural decisions with a strong focus on scalability, security, and reliability
* Leading development of distributed, backend-heavy systems
* Driving code quality, reviews, standards, and best practices
* Optimising performance and improving system resilience
* Collaborating with other Tech Leads on enterprise-wide architecture
* Managing workload prioritisation and end-to-end delivery
* Influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders

What We're Looking For
* Proven experience scaling or migrating complex systems without disrupting critical legacy applications
* Strong performance optimisation and scalability experience
* Exposure to sensitive or regulated data environments (highly regarded)
* Commercial acumen and high emotional intelligence
* Confident communicator who can translate technical concepts to business stakeholders
* Experience mentoring and influencing full-stack engineers
