Offer description

Looking for a varied, hands-on role in a growing business where no two days are the same?

HiveIQ is looking for an organised, proactive, and adaptable team member to support the business across a wide range of functions. This is an opportunity to work across administration, customer support, coordination, projects, and operations in a fast-moving small business environment where your contribution will make a real impact.

If you enjoy variety, like solving problems, and want a role where you can get involved in many different parts of the business, this could be a great fit.

About HiveIQ

HiveIQ is an Australian business focused on delivering innovative solutions for the beekeeping industry. We work across product, operations, customer support, and business development to help support commercial beekeepers and industry partners.

As a small and growing business, we value people who are practical, reliable, and willing to jump in where needed. Our team works across a broad range of projects and priorities, which means this role offers the chance to gain exposure to many parts of the business and develop a diverse skill set.

About the Role

This is a dynamic support role that helps keep the business organised, responsive, and moving forward. The successful candidate will work across a broad range of business functions, supporting administration, coordination, customer enquiries, internal projects, and day-to-day operations.

Rather than being limited to one narrow area, this role is designed for someone who is comfortable wearing many hats, learning quickly, and contributing wherever support is needed. It is well suited to someone who enjoys working in a small business environment and takes pride in being dependable, resourceful, and organised.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide general business support across administration, coordination, customer service, and day-to-day operations

- Assist with a wide range of projects and tasks across different areas of the business, adapting to changing priorities and business needs

- Support team members with coordination, communication, follow-up, and organisation to help keep work progressing efficiently

- Liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors, and service providers to gather information, coordinate actions, and maintain strong working relationships

- Maintain accurate records, documents, systems, and business information to support smooth and organised operations

- Assist with inbox monitoring, scheduling, task tracking, filing, and general administrative follow-up

- Contribute to meetings, planning, and internal task management by recording actions, tracking progress, and helping drive follow-through

- Keep internal systems, project management tools, and shared information up to date and well organised

- Assist with operational and logistical activities where needed, including light hands-on support to help the wider team

- Identify opportunities to improve processes, solve problems, and support continuous improvement across the business

- Take initiative in managing responsibilities while remaining flexible and willing to step into different roles as required

- Work collaboratively across departments while also being confident working independently

About You

To succeed in this role, you will be someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a variety of responsibilities at once. You will enjoy working in a small business environment where flexibility, initiative, and follow-through are highly valued.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

- Clear and professional communication skills

- The ability to manage competing priorities and stay on top of tasks

- A practical, can-do attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

- Confidence using common business systems and learning new software quickly

- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- A reliable and proactive approach to problem solving

This role may suit someone with previous experience in administration, office support, team coordination, customer service, operations support, or a similar general business support role.

Why Join HiveIQ?

- Work across a wide range of projects, functions, and business activities

- Be part of a growing Australian business in an interesting and innovative industry

- Gain exposure to multiple areas of the business rather than being confined to one narrow role

- Join a team where initiative, reliability, and practical support are genuinely valued

- Play an important role in helping the business stay organised, responsive, and efficient

- Enjoy variety in your day-to-day work and the opportunity to keep learning
