In this role you will:
* Lead the safe, efficient and effective delivery of infrastructure projects and maintenance programs, ensuring outcomes are achieved on time, within budget and to required quality standards.
* Manage project planning, scheduling and delivery controls to support strong governance, risk management and performance outcomes.
* Oversee contractor and service provider performance, including contract administration and delivery assurance.
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams across project and depot environments.
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and delivery partners to resolve issues and support successful project outcomes.
* Champion safety, environmental compliance and continuous improvement across all project activities.
* Contribute to an inclusive and collaborative team culture while supporting capability development and wellbeing.
This is a permanent, full‐time position located on site at Orange. Applications from candidates located at Bathurst or Lithgow may also be considered.
You're an experienced engineering professional who thrives in complex delivery environments and enjoys leading teams to achieve practical, customer‐focused outcomes.
You bring:
* Demonstrated experience delivering transport or infrastructure projects and maintenance programs.
* Strong project management capability across planning, procurement, contract administration and delivery.
* Sound technical knowledge of infrastructure construction or maintenance practices, ideally within road or asset environments.
* The ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* A collaborative leadership style with a strong commitment to safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
It is also essential that you hold a four‐year engineering degree from an Australian University or equivalent overseas qualification, a current and valid Australian driver's licence, and have a willingness to travel and work outside standard hours when required.
