* Salary: RN/M3 $125,183 to $130,779 p.a. (Pro-rata) + 12% Superannuation + Leave Loading and Salary Sacrifice Benefits
* Permanent Full-Time position (part time hours to be considered)

About the Opportunity

Are you a seasoned healthcare professional with a passion for driving excellence in patient care? We're seeking a Nurse Unit Manager to lead and coordinate patient care delivery within Riverton Hospital.

As a pivotal member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring continuity and quality of care while fostering a positive work culture. You'll utilise your clinical knowledge and experience to lead nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams towards achieving optimal patient/client outcomes.

Your main focus in this role will be line management, coordination, and leadership of team activities, accountability for nursing/midwifery practices, and promoting a work environment conducive to staff development and patient‑centric care.


About You

* Strong leadership skills with expertise in communication, problem‑solving, and negotiation
* Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
* Demonstrated experience in fostering a person‑centred care environment
* Proven flexibility, creativity, and innovation in healthcare settings
* Track record in leading and promoting consumer engagement and change management.

Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practising certificate with a minimum of 3 years of post‑registration experience. Previous experience in management, leadership and supervisory roles is essential.
