We are the largest independently owned radiology clinic on the Sunshine Coast. We specialise in MR Breast imaging and biopsy, Screening and Diagnostic Mammography including Stereo-tactic breast biopsies, hook wire and scout clip placement, vacuum assisted biopsy unit, specimen reviews. Our radiologist has a genuine interest in Women’s imaging and offers specific patient risk assessment consultation to ensure appropriately tailored breast imaging recommendations.

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Breast Sonographer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality ultrasound imaging services for breast health assessment, including screening and diagnostic examinations. You will need to demonstrate a strong, supportive and engaging communication style and possess the ability to work autonomously, as well as function in a team.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensure the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
* Perform ultrasound examinations to produce images of high diagnostic quality.
* Assist in interventional breast procedures such as FNA, core biopsy, scout clip placement, and hookwire localisation.
* Work in tandem with MRI department to correlate MRI breast findings with ultrasound, pre-treatment.
* Opportunity to perform mammography if trained and hold current qualifications and licences.
* Provide compassionate patient care and support throughout imaging procedures.
* Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate imaging reports.

About you
* Possess an accredited Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound
* Current ASAR
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and software
* Good organisation and time management skills
* High level of communication with patients and staff
* Passionate about providing an outstanding service to our patients
