About Your New Role: A rare opportunity exists for a Senior Design Engineer to step into a key technical leadership role within a high-performing engineering team.
You will independently plan, lead, and deliver complex projects across renewable energy connection assets, overseeing a discipline group and driving high-quality, future-focused design outcomes aligned with organisational goals.
This role offers the chance to shape major infrastructure and directly influence the future of clean energy across regional NSW and beyond, with a particular focus on substation primary and secondary system design.
Day-to-Day Duties: Provide technical and professional leadership to the engineering discipline group Lead HV and secondary systems design to ensure constructability, cost efficiency, safety and whole-of-life value Complete engineering calculations, site assessments, feasibility studies and detailed design work Certify designs and produce technical specifications, drawings and documentation Support tendering, construction, commissioning and operations phases Mentor junior engineers and guide external consultants to promote an inclusive, collaborative culture About You: Bachelor of Engineering (electrical preferred) plus required licences and certifications, including White Card Strong electrical design experience across HV, secondary systems, and renewable energy assets Practical construction or project delivery experience, including feasibility and compliance Experience directing, reviewing, and collaborating with external design partners Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation skills, and ability to manage complex workloads while upholding ethical and inclusive practices What's In It For You: Flexible hybrid working arrangements including a 9-day fortnight Salary sacrificing options, including novated leasing Discounts on private health insurance Retail and technology discounts Access to financial wellbeing tools and continuous professional development For more information, please reach out to Izaac Ellings at or click APPLY NOW to submit your interest.
