Are you an experienced Mental Health Clinician looking to make a meaningful impact within a highly respected national organisation supporting veterans and their families?
We are seeking APS6 Clinicians to join a multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based mental health support services to current and former Defence personnel and their families across North Queensland. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive clinical environment focused on trauma-informed care, wellbeing, and long-term therapeutic outcomes.
You will provide high-quality counselling, risk assessment, care planning, case management and therapeutic interventions while working collaboratively alongside other clinicians and stakeholders. The role offers ongoing professional development opportunities, funded clinical supervision, and the opportunity to work with a genuinely rewarding client group.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based counselling and mental health interventions
* Conduct risk assessments, intake assessments and care planning
* Provide individual, couple and family counselling
* Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation
* Liaise with families, stakeholders and external providers to coordinate care
* Participate in case reviews, supervision and professional development activities
* Support psychoeducation programs and community engagement initiatives
Requirements
* Australian Citizenship is mandatory
* Relevant qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Counselling
* 3+ years’ experience working within trauma-informed and holistic practice frameworks
* Full AHPRA registration OR eligibility for AASW membership OR PACFA/ACA registration
* Experience delivering trauma-informed mental health interventions
* Excellent communication, assessment and risk management skills
* Experience working with ADF personal or veterans highly desirable
