Heidelberg Materials Australia have an opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join the team at our NATA Accredited Laboratory based at the Kulnura Quarry, located within the NSW Central Coast.
This is not your usual white coat lab role You'll be out in the field in your high vis and PPE, sampling and testing as well as working within the Quarry Laboratory.
The successful applicant will have impeccable customer focus and be highly motivated and enthusiastic, be risk aware and safety driven.
This is an excellent opportunity to enter the construction industry in a full-time technical role within one of Australia's leading construction materials suppliers.
In your new role, you will:
- Perform quarry material testing - Aggregate & Soil
- Carry out equipment calibrations
- Ensure Laboratory NATA requirements are maintained
- Assist the technical team
This role is a great fit for you if you have:

- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (written & verbal)

- A current driver's licence
- Available to work weekends and regular overtime
- Professional work ethic
- Previous experience as a Laboratory Technician
- An ability to take ownership and manage your own area of responsibility without close supervision
- Customer focused and excellent attention to detail
