Personal Injury Lawyer (Mandarin/Chinese fluent) – Junior to Associate

Your role
As a valued lawyer, reporting to the Head Practice Leader, you will manage your own files (majority CTP/motor accidents plus some workers compensation, public liability and total permanent disability) from start to finish, representing injured clients to obtain full justice with the support of a top mentor.
Specifically, you will:
- Liaise directly with clients, insurers, medical experts, barristers and other solicitors
- Review medical records, undertake legal research, draft legal/court documents, prepare briefs for counsel and attend court/settlement conferences

Who you are
- Admitted lawyer in Queensland or a graduate with minimum 6 months (or more) experience in personal injury law, including at least one of: CTP (motor accidents); workers compensation; public liability; TPD (total permanent disability). If you have no personal injury experience, a keen interest in this area
- Solid legal research, drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills with experience actively case managing personal injury files
- Ability to prioritise time, meet deadlines, and effectively engage with and manage clients
- Self-driven, ambitious, client- and results-focused, and a strong team player
- Excellent English communication and Mandarin fluency (essential)
- Hunger to advance a personal injury career long-term with a top plaintiff firm
