This role will be offered as a 12-month contract.
Reporting to the Superintendent - Maintenance Execution, the successful applicant will be maintaining and driving the optimal maintenance plan to maximise plant efficiency and asset utilisation with your team of professionals in maintenance.
We're seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of our plant.
Work a consistent 4-day week, you'll play a key role in maintaining equipment reliability while navigating the dynamic demands of a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
In this role, you'll balance planned maintenance activities with the need to support continuous operations and ensure consistent customer supply.
Your technical expertise and collaborative mindset will be essential to keeping our systems running smoothly.What you will be doingEnsuring plant, equipment repairs, modifications and monitoring occur within health and safety guidelinesInvestigating, analysing and determining root causes of electrical plant failuresCoordinating and communicating with Planners, Maintenance Technicians, Engineers and Operations to complete and resolve both planned and unplanned maintenance activitiesParticipating in pre-shut-down work scoping and shut-down facilitation executionProviding direction and control of breakdown work to ensure maximum outputConducting maintenance tasks within a rigid planning and clearance to work systemWhat you will bringQueensland Electrical License and Instrument Trade Qualification is requiredMaintenance experience in a heavy industry/continuous manufacturing environmentCommunication and coordination skills to work with engineering and operational teamsHigh risk work license for forklift and elevated work platform are nice to haveExperience in high voltage switching and safety instrumented systems would be highly advantageousSound systems and administration skills to maintain our Maintenance Management System in SAPKnowledge of maintenance methods e.g. preventative, predictive, condition monitoringWhat we offerAs part of a truly global company, you will have the ability to grow and learn in a diverse, collaborative culture.
