Key Role in Safety Enhancement:
We are seeking an accomplished professional to lead the enhancement of our safety culture across NSW. This role plays a critical part in supporting our frontline teams and implementing HSEQ strategies.
Responsibilities
* Implement HSEQ Strategy in collaboration with regional safety colleagues
* Lead WHS and safety training, including new starter inductions and equipment training
* Perform site visits to verify compliance with WHS standards
* Lead toolbox talks
* Carry out risk assessments
* Investigate incidents
* Support the creation of safe work method statements
* Implement WHS policies and legislation
About You
* You lead by example in a safety-first culture
* A Cert IV in WHS is essential
* A driver's licence is essential (manual or auto)
* You have at least 2 years' experience within a similar role
* Sound knowledge and experience in WHS policies, processes, and safe systems of work
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
