APG Workforce is currently seeking a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join the Queensland Fire Department's Fleet Assets team at their Toowoomba Workshop. This is a 3-month assignment with potential for extension.
Location: Toowoomba QLD
Pay Rate: $52.00 Per Hour + super
Duration: 3 Months
Key Responsibilities:
* General cab chassis maintenance and repairs
* Small engine maintenance, including generators and pumps
* Fault-finding and repair work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems
* Working within a busy government workshop environment
Requirements:
* Heavy Vehicle Mechanic trade qualification preferred (Light Vehicle Mechanics with relevant experience will be considered)
* Experience with pump, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is an advantage
* MR Driver's Licence desired
* Must be available for immediate start
* 38-hour work week
